During the past 20 years, Hinkle Quality Homes has designed and built over 1200 custom homes. What has evolved from our experiences is a procedure that allows you, the customer, to build the home of your dreams without confusion and time delays.

When you compare the cost of building a Hinkle Quality custom home to building a 'tract' home, you will be surprised just how reasonable it is to build your home with your special features.

 

LOT SELECTION: Hinkle Quality Homes has building sites selected throughout the city to suit your lifestyle. If you already have a lot, we would love to build on it. Our most popular areas of construction are: River's Edge II & III, Primrose Pointe, Quintessence, Vineyard Estates, North Albuquerque Acres, High Desert Estates, Placitas and our newest development at Desert Mountain Estates nestled in the foothills South of I-40 at the entrance to Tijeras Canyon. (1/2 mile east of Albuquerque City limit off I-40.)


SKETCH PLAN: Our first design session is to talk about your lifestyle and the special features you want to see in a home. With the building site already selected, we will sketch a basic floor plan taking into consideration all the views, room sizes and special features you desire.


BLUEPRINT REVISIONS: With your schedule as our guide, we are able to convert the initial sketches to softline blueprints that will define your floor plan layout and exterior elevation. In conjunction with this step, we will provide preliminary pricing so that you remain informed about the costs. These blueprints and price sheets will continue being revised until you and HInkle Quality Homes are satisfied.


START CONSTRUCTION: A full set of plans are drawn for your final review and then sent to the city for a building permit. At that time, Hinkle Quality Homes will require the construction deposit and a positive opinion letter from your mortgage company.


CONSTRUCTION PERIOD: During the construction period, you are invited to visit as often as you wish. Our sub-contractors and superintendents are all experienced craftsmen and are able to answer any of your questions or concerns during the construction of your home.


WARRANTY: Upon completion and closing, you are ready to enjoy your new home. Hinkle Quality Homes has an excellent customer service department and will be there to repair any warranty problems that may occur with your new home during the warranty period.
